Rumors: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| -http://www.wcw.com: [~] WHY WASN'T GOLDBERG AT NITRO?: According to The Smart Mark Hotline, 1-313-438-000 the enter 313-438-6156, Goldberg wasn't on Nitro because he attended a charity event which he didn't get any money for. He didn't get permission from WCW management, therefore, his penalty was to be kept off of Nitro and not able to hype up his match with Bigelow at SuperBrawl. (TRN News Reporter: Eric Sherman) [~] WCW FIRED MASCOT: This comes directly from Joe De Leon: Meltzer reports that WCW television mascot, Wildcat Willie was fired. He was very boring to fans at television program events (mainly Nitro), and was booed most of the time. He played at least one angle on television, where Scott Steiner attacked him. Note by Me: One thing that Meltzer, and Joe didn't mention was the mascots identity, 2 people played the role of Wildcat Willie. The current one was Lord Steven Regals former manager Geeves, and the other person under the mask I believe was "Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony. Also Wildcat Willie was also involved in another angle where at Clash of The Champions he hit Hogan in the knee with a tire-iron, a spoof off of the Nancy Karragen thing. (TRN Senior Editor: Dave Corbin, and Joe De Leon of RWIN) [~] HEAT BETWEEN BISCHOFF AND HALL'S GIRLFRIEND: There was a lot of heat between Bischoff and Hall recently. The issue began when Bischoff took Scott Hall's girlfriend off the road, which got Hall extremely upset. Hall's girlfriend was involved in TV production and is related to a top Time-Warner executive, Brad Siegal. At WCW's Souled Out PPV, Scott Hall suffered an injury in his ladder match with Goldberg. Keller says that after the removal of Hall's girlfriend, Hall informed Bischoff about the injury, Bischoff thought Hall was faking the injury to get back at him for taking his girlfriend off the road.
